Gino (A.K.A., Geenoots) currently resides in NYC, Son of Italian-American immigrants, Cafarelli was born and raised in Queens, NY. He started his professional career in 2000 as Co-Producer on the film "Chooch,” which he acted in as well. Gino would soon find himself cast as Vinny Pitts in an episode of "The Sopranos.” The episode was directed by Oscar nominee Mike Figgis.
Cafarelli has feverishly refined his acting skills with consistent involvement in the theater, as well as radio. He’s run the gamut from being a radio personality, to writing and producing a comedy album in 2002. The album included a theme song for the NY Yankees, and the # 1 holiday hit "The Twelve Days of Guido Christmas." Gino also sung the Italian anthem for Italy’s soccer team in 2006 - it was heard worldwide. 2006 would also bring him a cameo role as Joe Pesci’s bodyguard in "The Good Shepherd.” Cafarelli was handpicked by Robert DeNiro for the part. 2006 also brought Artie Lange's "Beer League," "The Wedding Bros.," and Lbs..
While residing in Los Angeles, (2006-2012). Cafarelli posted his very first reel to YouTube in 2008, and was subsequently discovered by Robert Siegel - writer of the Oscar nominated film "The Wrestler.” Siegel offered Gino the supporting lead role of “Jeff Aufiero.” A fast talking attorney opposite actor/comedian Patton Oswalt. Siegel's new film "BIG FAN” received critical acclaim, and premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in U.S. Dramatic Competition , and was later nominated for Best Pic at the Gotham Awards. Siegel went on to win Best Break Thru Director for "BIG FAN" at the 2009 IFP Gotham Awards
